QC Commercial uses the latest technology in all of its daily operations, including payroll. Employees are paid electronically by using company supplied debit cards, courtesy of BB&T Bank. This prevents employees from having to run to the bank every Friday to cash checks. Payment is posted to the employee's debit card every Friday morning.

Employee's time on the job is also kept electronically.  Every day, all hourly employees key in and out at each job site using the JobClock System by Exaktime, Inc. This system eliminates any potential disputes over hours worked between employee, job foreman, the customer's site superintendent, and QCC's human resources department.

PROJECT MANAGER,  Temp-to-Perm

Qualifications
This position reports directly to the owner.  The successful candidate will assist the owner in day to day operations both in the office and out in the field.  Focus will be the commercial and industrial markets.  Candidate must have knowledge of the commercial and industrial construction industry.  Must be able to interpret blue prints and possess good computer skills. A North Carolina drivers license is required.

Job Functions

• Oversee jobsite foreman
• Respond to bid invitations by analyzing blueprints, engineering specifications, and other related bid documents
• Attend networking functions
• Initial project site visits
• Attend national trade shows
• Call on potential customers using provided leads
• Write proposals
• Interface with existing customers to expand current programs
• Negotiate pricing with equipment and material vendors

Pay Rate: Salary + Commission

CRAFTSMAN CLASS II
Must have at least two (2) years experience as a professional painter either working for a registered painting contactor or self-employed with two years of customer references.  Must be able to work both independently and with multi-man crews.  Position requires use of brushes and rollers. Must possess minimal tool set consisting of paint brushes (oil and latex), caulk gun, painter's tool / 5-in-1, etc.  This position reports directly to a Class III Crew Leader.

Pay Rate: $10.00/Hr - $12.00/Hr
